Walter always hates it when people say "God is good." It is not because he doesn't agree with the statement. Obviously he wouldn't be in seminary if he did not believe that.

He hates it when people say "God is good" because they only say it when they get something they want or they are having a good day. Maybe they just got a job promotion or they just got married or engaged or just had a baby or they just sold their house that was on the market, etc. People usually only say "God is good" when their circumstances are most benefiting them and their happiness.

What is so awe inspiring about this video is the fact that this women is saying God is good as cancer is rapidly taking over her body. She explains why God is good all the time. It is well worth listening to. It reminds me that life is not about me or if I am happy at all.

Please--I urge you to take the time to watch this. It is not terribly depressing..she offers much love and hope in the midst of suffering. I have never heard someone give a message with such eloquence and grace as she does...
